Truckshow Liessel – Final information

Dear participant,

 

Coming Saturday is the big day…. Truckshow Liessel 2023!!! We are very busy making sure you are going to have a fantastic weekend!

To make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible, we ask you to read the following carefully. 

 

Arrival

You are welcome Saturday between 8 am and 11.30 am. Make sure you’re on time, because once the gate is closed it won’t open again. On Friday, we won’t let participants onto the site yet. You can spend the night at Truckstop Nobis Asten (A67, exit Asten (36)).

Route

  • A67 from Venlo or Eindhoven exit Asten (36), follow the signs towards Liessel. You will be welcomed here by someone from the organisation.
  • From other directions, drive via the N279 towards Asten, follow the signs towards Liessel. You will be welcomed here by someone from the organisation.

Don’t forget your ticket!

Saturday morning, we need to get 700 trucks onto the site in 4 hours. This is quite a task every year. If you make sure you have your ticket(s) printed or ‘scan-ready’ on your mobile it will save us a lot of time. Thanks in advance!

Co-driver

Do you have a co-driver? Then make sure he/she also has a ticket. This makes it a lot easier for us! A co-driver ticket can be purchased at www.turftruckers.nl/tickets-informatie. Co-drivers aged 12 or younger do not need a ticket.

Towing eye

Bring your towing eye with you! Of course, we hope it’s not necessary, but still….

House rules

  • It is mandatory to wear the wristband visibly on the wrist all weekend.
  • Glass is NOT allowed. This will be checked. If you do take this with you, we will confiscate it.
  • Loaded trucks are NOT allowed.
  • Open fire is NOT allowed.
  • Swimming pools are NOT allowed.
  • Please clean up everything properly. There are enough bins and rubbish bags.

Categories and prizes

All trucks in our show corner have a chance to win a prize. We have five categories this year: oldtimer, truck, truck with trailer, tractor and tractor with semi-trailer. On Saturday, the participating trucks will be judged by our jury. The most beautiful interior will also be rewarded with a prize!

On Sunday afternoon at 3 pm, the lucky winners will be announced in our festival tent!

Visitor’s Award

What do you think is the most beautiful truck of Truckshow Liessel 2023? We are very curious! You can vote for your favourite truck at www.turftruckers.nl/publieksprijs from Saturday 12.00 pm.

Big party!

Every year it’s a big party is our festival tent. This year we have a fantastic programme! From 4 pm onwards, the party will burst into gear with John West, Freddy Moreira, Marco Schuitmaker, Daani, Barry Fest, Plug ’n Play, Q-Music Foute Uur, FeestDJ Gradje, DJ Mark-E and DJ Daan! On Sunday afternoon we will continue with the one and only Henk Wijngaard who will turn the festival tent upside down one more time with his classics.
